We curate the objects
that make a house
feel like home.
One-of-a-kind home goods, hand-selected decor, and thoughtful gifts — gathered from artisans and makers, then arranged with intention for your everyday.
About Us
A shop built on
intention, not inventory.
Lake Effect Living started with a simple conviction: the things you live with should matter. Not because they're trendy, but because they're considered — thoughtfully made, honestly priced, and designed to outlast a season.
We travel to find makers whose work speaks for itself, then bring those pieces together under one roof in New Carlisle. Every ceramic vase, every woven textile, every candle we carry has earned its place on our shelves.
Our Collections
Rooms, not racks.
We organize by how you live, not by category. Browse the spaces that matter to you.
Living Room
Textiles, lighting, and accents for the heart of your home.
Kitchen & Dining
Ceramics, linens, and tools made for real meals, not display.
Bed & Bath
Linen, cotton, and ceramic — the quiet essentials, elevated.
Gifts & Occasions
Thoughtful presents for housewarmings, holidays, and everything between.
